At Chamberlin Care, we strive to align ourselves with care professionals who possess a passion to care, love and serve others, and who feel fortunate to succor the weak, lift up the hands which hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees. We embody our core values of love, service, and excellence in all that we do.
Every individual served by RCOC is unique and therefore a Person-Centered approach is implemented when developing a care plan.
Our caregivers receive guidance and training to ensure they have an understanding of how to support individuals served by RCOC.

Our decision to provide Disability Services was rooted in purpose and calling.
While the original vision for Chamberlin Care was to be a senior care service, it became unmistakably clear that developmental services needed to be an integral part of the mission as well. The need is great, the impact is profound, and it aligns deeply with Chamberlin Care’s mission "to succor the weak, lift up the hands which hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees."
This clarity of purpose came on March 21st, World Down Syndrome Day, when the founder and his family attended a community event where they celebrated their daughter Zoe and all the friends and family that have the blessing of someone with Down Syndrome in their life.
Today, Chamberlin Care is an approved official vendor of the Regional Center of Orange County, authorized to provide support to individuals and families with developmental disabilities, including those with Down syndrome and other disabilities. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve with compassion, dignity, and excellence.

Marissa has always been compassionate and driven to support families and individuals with disabilities. Her and her three sons, Martin, Moises and Michael, learned first hand what life with a disability is like when her husband, a Senior Scientist Aerospace Engineer, suffered brain trauma and became disabled and dependent on others. This life-altering event gave Marissa abundant opportunities to grow in strength and empathy, and led her to pursue more education and receive a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
She has worked with victims of domestic violence and families receiving In-Home Supportive Services, and, over the last six years - Marissa has served families receiving support and guidance by the Regional Center of Orange County. Her personal, educational, and professional journey has blessed her with over 20 years of serving individuals and families with love, compassion and empathy. As the Program Manager of Disability Services at Chamberlin Care, Marissa continues her passion to love, serve, and strive for excellence as she supports families and individuals with disabilities.
In Middle English, the "Chamberlin" was the servant to the noble and great ones. They served the king and queen. We believe every human has value and their story is unique. We consider it a blessing and privilege to be part of your story. We have been called to serve and strengthen you and your loved ones. It's in our name, it's in our blood.
